Membership
Membership of TFHS Inc. is open to all interested in genealogy and family or social history, whether resident in Tasmania or not. Assistance is given to help trace overseas ancestry as well as Tasmanian and Australian ancestry. Dues are payable each year by 1 April.
Current subscriptions (in Australian dollars):
Australian Membership:
- Individual member $50.00
- Joint members (2 people at one address) $60.00
- Australian individual concession $40.00
- Australian joint concession $50.00
International Membership: Single or joint
- Journal mailed A$65.00
- E-Journal (PDF emailed) A$35.00

Renewals
Our membership year runs from 1 April to 31 March each year. Reminder notices are issued in mid February. See more information about renewals here.Donations:
Donations to the Library Fund ($2.00 and over) are tax deductible. Gifts of family records, maps, photographs, etc. are most welcome.
Membership Entitlements:
All members receive copies of our society's journal, Tasmanian Ancestry, published quarterly in June, September, December and March.
Members are entitled to free access to all our society's libraries. Members also have free access to Ancestry.com at our Library. Access to libraries of some other societies has been arranged on a reciprocal basis.
