The Genealogical Society of
Tasmania (GST) was formed in 1980. Hobart
the largest of its five branches.
In 2001 the name of the society was changed to the Tasmanian Family
History Society Inc. (TFHS).

NEW LIBRARY SERVICE !
who wish to buy certificates from the UK General Records Office may
order and pay for them 'across the counter' at the Hobart Branch
Library. For a cost of $25 per certificate you can remove the
risk of using your own credit or debit card. Simply provide the
details of the certificates you wish to order and pay at the Library
Desk. Turnaround time is approximately two weeks.
